Equifax and XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Account # XXXX ) are violating my rights to privacy under 15 U.S.C. 1681 section 602A. Equifax is allowing XXXX XXXX XXXX to furnish Account # XXXX to my credit report without my written permission. I have never heard of XXXX XXXX XXXX or signed a contract that granted them permission to furnish an account to my credit report. I contacted the company listed as the original creditor, XXXX XXXX, and have not gotten any response from the company about the alleged debt despite calling several times. I also sent a follow up email that did not get a response. ( please see attachment # 1 ) When I disputed the account and asked Equifax to conduct a full investigation ( attachment 2 ), they stated that it was properly investigated. However, when I requested the method used to verify the debt ( please see attachment # 3 ), they did not respond. I was not provided the business name, address or phone number of any furnisher that was contacted for the debt they reported as verified. Under FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 6 ) ( B ( iii ), a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information shall be provided to the consumer by the agency, including the business name and address of any furnisher of information contacted in connection with such information and the telephone number of such furnisher, if reasonably available. Equifax and XXXX XXXX XXXX are using Account # XXXX to not only violate my rights but to bring hardship on me and my family during a national emergency. Please end this abuse by removing this account from my credit report immediately.
