My home was in forbearance for XXXX XXXX during XXXX. I started receiving letters from XXXX XXXX XXXX that I needed to start back making payments after the end of forbearance XX/XX/XXXX. I was told my payment would be XXXX ( this not the exact amount because I cant remember the exact amount. ) I notified XXXX that I had divorced my husband on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX and I had legally changed my name back to my maiden name if XXXX XXXX XXXX requested documentation of the divorce and my name change which I did. When I received my loan modification paperwork they had my then ex husbands name on the paperwork with a new payment of XXXX and some change. Each time I would receive new loan modification there was still name errors on the loan modification. This continued up until XX/XX/XXXX when my ex husband died. XXXX requested his death certificate which I provided. This loan company could NOT get this straightened out with my name change and removing him from the loan papers. I would call XXXX each month which during this time my new house payment kept changing by increasing. The last loan modification I received was XX/XX/XXXX which showed my payment to be the XXXX payment due XX/XX/XXXX which I didnt receive until the first week of XXXX. Today I became completely fed up with the underwriters handling of my loan modification so I called XXXX and spoke with a person who kept talking over me so after 20 minutes I hung up. I later called back and spoke with someone when the phone began to have so much static I could not hear anything she was saying. The next thing I know I was put on hold. After 35 minutes I hung up. I called back later and spoke with a call taker. She advised she saw that my payment is XXXX due XX/XX/XXXX. She told me she was going to put me on hold to talk to someone in loan modification when after 44 minutes I hung up. I do not think I should have to pay a higher payment due to their incompetence and the interest rate increasing. This has been a complete nightmare!
