Consumer Narrative
XXXX Account number : XXXX Date Opened : XX/XX/XXXX XXXX has been reporting misleading, inaccurate, inconsistent and unverifiable information on my Equifax credit report. This is a joint account and they are reporting different inaccurate, inconsistent and unverifiable information on the co-owners Equifax credit report as well. Both of us have disputed this information many times over the last several years. We are entitled to a 100 percent accurate credit report. Equifax continues to report inaccurate information without verifying any of the inaccuracies and incorrect information, and not reporting an accurate payment history, as well as providing all the documentation. There are several pieces of information that XXXX is reporting are different and misleading, inaccurate, inconsistent and unverifiable on all of our different credit reports. The balance is different and/or missing, the payment history are different and/or missing, and dates are different and/or missing. There are over 20 items that do not match. There are numerous errors as well as missing information which violate FCRA laws. XXXX as well as Equifax seem incapable of or unwilling to resolve our disputes. They have also added to our credit reports a payment in the amount of {$5500.00} in XXXX of XXXX, in which neither of us made. This only is a violation of Federal laws. XXXX is using abusive, deceptive and unfair debt collection practices. I have contacted XXXX and asked them for all documentation on this account. They did provide a statement which shows that this account has a {$0.00} balance on XXXX of XXXX. However, they have failed to produce all documents so this account could probably be verified and 100 percent accurate. We feel that Equifax willfully and wantonly reports this account to keep our credit damaged so that we can not obtain credit, pay higher interest rates, cause mental anguish, loss of credit, higher insurance rates, etc. This is malicious prosecution. This account has caused us both mental anguish and emotional distress. Per FCRA, reporting must be 100 percent accurate or the account must be deleted from ANY and ALL credit reporting agencies, not just XXXX, Equifax and XXXX. Therefore, I am demanding that ALL reporting on this account cease and desist and be IMMEDIATELY deleted from credit reporting agencies ( not just the major three ) permanently.
