XXXX sent my name to a collection agency for the amount of {$100.00} where in a do not owe XXXX this amount for any bill. My ex wife was the primary account holder for 4 lines and my number happens to be under this four ( 4 ) lines but I was not responsible for the bill. My ex wife was the account holder and that was her responsibility while a took over the cars insurances, internet and cable bills. When we got separated she closed the account with the balance owed on it. instead of XXXX billing her the amount she owes they sent me the bill and I rejected it then opens my own account with XXXX in my own name with a different number. Even the lady that was processing my new account told me I was not responsible for the my ex- wife account because I did not initially opens the account. When I check my credit report I find out that XXXX debt collection agency has placed that amount on my credit report and XXXX point was deducted from my credit scores. I have called XXXX on XX/XX/2022 @ XXXX to removed the item from my credit report and I also follow up on XX/XX/2022 @ XXXX. I also Called the XXXX debt collection agency and they said XXXX has to resolve the issue for it to be removed from my credit report. XXXXXXXX keep turning me around without any solution to the issue.
