We made an appointment to see the XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX I went on vacation and after I found out the people I was with had XXXX I called the XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) to cancel my appointment 1 day before so that he could see other patients. The office manager told us that she would cancel it but there is a {$75.00} cancellation fee that we had to pay. We told them we were never told that there was a cancellation/no show fee. We asked them if they have any confirmation from us that we knowledge the {$75.00} no show fee policy and they said they don't see that and they don't know. We have been receiving bill from them and every time I am calling them to tell them that we were never told that there was a cancellation fee the office manager and XXXX in a very bad way telling us it is what it is and we have to pay it. We spoke with them two times including XX/XX/XXXXafter receiving a bill with a letter that they will send it to collection agency and offered them to lower the {$75.00} even though it was never disclosed to us but they did not accept it. On XX/XX/XXXX we received a letter from AWA Collections that I owe {$75.00} and if I do not pay it will go to my credit. I sent AWA a letter explaining the situation and they still wanted the money and forced us to pay it. I did not want my credit to be damaged and thus, I paid it on XX/XX/2022 over the phone. I am a single mom and I don't want them to ruin my credit for something that was never disclosed to me and trying find a help to go after them to get my money back.
