I wrote dispute letters and sent in my FTC identity report to XXXX because I strongly believe the accounts I disputed is subject to identity theft. I was told by one of their customer service representatives that they do not investigate disputed items. The representative informed me that all dispute letters sent in will only be verified through mailing addresses only and if it comes back with my address on it then they will do nothing and it will remain in collections for 7 years. My dispute process also took longer than 45 days.
