I was a victim of a armed robbery on XX/XX/XXXX. It was the early morning between XXXX to XXXX. I was on my way after a night @ the casino with my friends. I was on XXXX XXXX when I got a flat tire. I just got my vehicle in XX/XX/XXXX & it's a XXXX. So to charge my phones I use a lighter charge adaptor. I opened my trunk so I could change my tire & no jack just a crowbar. So I sat in my car & went to charge my phones & the adapter broke. My phones died. The area I was stranded was industrial with minimal house around. My vehicle also didn't come with a working horn. I fell asleep & woke up because I heard the passenger door handle my doors were locked. There was tall regular built man trying to get in my car. He broke my window with a hammer. he grabbed my purse & I screamed & he ran. I looked to my left & there was another man in a car pulled right on the side of me & he jumped in that car. I couldn't do anything & I was stranded from XXXX to XXXX. I got help from a church who got my tire fixed. So I had a broken window & need new tires. My purse was a designer purse with matching wallet those 2 items {$450.00}. I won {$500.00} cash @ the casino & that was in there. All my financial information was in my purse. My checkbook, ATM cards, charge cards, my social security card, my license, a printout with my checking & saving account information. So once I got home & charged my phone I called my bank & has the accounts changed. However they has spent {$200.00} from my checking @ XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX Needless to say these people maxed out my XXXXXXXX XXXX card, my XXXX XXXX card, they applied to finance furniture thru XXXX XXXX & were approved for {$5000.00}. I contacted the department stores & they are working with me. XXXX canceled the loan & said I wasn't liable but I had to file a Consumer Report to the FTC & email the report & the police report to them. I found out they were applying for credit cards & charge cards because XXXX XXXX called me & asked if I applied for these cards. I said no because I fixed my credit so I could buy a house. I have 1 credit card I use to build my credit & that's all. The following is a list of all the companies they applied for credit & that are now on my credit report as a hard inquiry : 1. XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX applied XX/XX/XXXX 2. XXXX XXXX XXXX applied XX/XX/XXXX 3. XXXX XXXX XXXX- XXXX Applied XX/XX/XXXX 4. XXXX XXXX - XXXX Applied XX/XX/XXXX 5. XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX - XXXX Applied XX/XX/XXXX 6. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Applied XX/XX/XXXX 7. XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX applied XX/XX/XXXX I also file a report with Identitytheft.gov. I am writing a dispute letter after this to the credit bureau advising them of everything I just told your company. Thank you
