I submitted a complaint back on XX/XX/XXXX ( XXXX ). Here is a summary of the issue. I was incorrectly charged in the amount of {$2300.00} for force-placed homeowners insurance when I already an insurance policy, for which I have provided copies of policy both via emails to XXXX and attachments on the company website. The company responded by acknowledging that there was an incorrectly forced policy for coverage placed on subject property XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. The loan was charged with a premium of {$2300.00} for the forced placed coverage on XX/XX/XXXX. They have refunded {$1800.00} and said that they will refund the additional {$480.00} that was not refunded on XX/XX/XXXX. They stated on XX/XX/XXXX that they were in the process of refunding the {$480.00} and should be completed within the next 7 to 10 days. To date, XX/XX/XXXX, I have not received the refund.
