My line of work ( non-profit ) was affected by COVID-19 in XXXX of XXXX. Thus, on XX/XX/XXXX, I missed a payment of {$25.00} to Avant Credit. I also, missed paying the recurring amount plus interest from XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I started a payment plan to pay off {$110.00} by XX/XX/XXXX to bring my account into current status. By XX/XX/XXXX, I paid off this amount and my account was back in current status. Because the late payments ( from XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ) reconciled by the payment plan mentioned above, ending on XX/XX/XXXX, I started a request to Avant two weeks ago asking them if they could remove the late payments from XXXX from my profile, as I've had other credit card companies do ( bigger than Avant ) and it was done without hassle. On XX/XX/XXXX, they responded to my request saying that they would not remove the late payments that occurred during and because of COVID-19/XXXX. XXXX was a horrible year for a lot of us, outside of these four months of late payments, I had no late payments starting back from XXXX. And since XXXX, I've had no late payments. I would greatly appreciate if these late payments were removed with the grace that lots of companies and this country has given its constituents because they care. Avant claims to care for its customers, but currently I'm not experiencing that.
