Around XXXX my TransUnion FICO score dropped XXXX points from XXXX to XXXX. The reason given was lack of a non-mortgage loan ( I saved and bought my house, and cars, with cash to avoid interest, and have no need for a loan right now ). I heavily use 5 credit cards, some over XXXX, paying each multiple times per month, and never once in all these years carried a balance forward to the next month. They know this, but somehow, to TransUnion, multiple varying accounts paid multiple times per month is nothing compared to dealing with a single, fixed rate, unchanging, single monthly payment on a loan amount my monthly credit card balances alone would easily exceed, to the extent of suddenly docking my credit score XXXX points. Accordingly, I am led to believe that TransUnion may be gaming the FICO system for the benefit of itself and their bank clients by attacking the credit ratings of banking 's safest customers in an attempt to edge such customers into a safe and profitable loan product for their bank clients. I bring this suspicion to your attention, and that is all. Thank you.
