Wells Fargo failed to pay property taxes in XXXX, for which I notified them and filed a formal complaint. They indicated they paid the back tax in XXXX, including the penalties. I recently received a notice from a collections agency that nearly {$12000.00} in school and local property taxes were not paid, {$2000.00} is for penalties. Wells Fargo was notified, and they continue to deny but it is valid. There will soon be a lien on my home. Throughout the process Wells Fargo has jacked up my mortgage nearly {$1700.00} a month for taxes they state they are paying, they have refused to complete an escrow analysis following a finalized court case on the property assessment appeal, and they have refused to allow me the option of managing my own escrow account. Managing it on my own would have proven more successful with both time and money. I have filed XXXX formal complaints with Wells Fargo but get nowhere.
