I was told from a company that my credit was froze I did not freeze my credit so I started to look into this matter. I signed into XXXX XXXX and XXXX and I had no credit freeze so I decided to look into equifax. I tried to log into my equixfax account but could not remember the password so like any normal person I called and told the equifax agent I need to get access to my account & also to ask if I had a credit freeze on my account. The agent asked me security questions and then told me I did have a freeze and I asked for him to remove it and he said yes. I then asked to help with access to my account since I didn't know my password he tried to reset it but it didn't work. It said my account was locked but did not tell me why it was locked. I called back for two more days straight talking to agents who gave me the spin around and wasted my whole day. I finally talked to one agent who finally asked me during the security verification if I had a previous address on file I said yes. He then told me that agents previous locked my account because when they asked for my address I gave them my current address and not the old address that Was linked to my account! Why would your agents waste my time for hours when they simply could have told me I have the wrong address. So now your untrained agents locked my account because I proved my new address instead of my old one And now you are saying I can't access my account unless I mail you guys a company of my ssn card and ID. How do I know that Is safe? Why can't I get access if I just gave you all my information why do I need to mail it. Because of equifax I have been behind on so many things because company 's and myself can't access my account.I wish I never used equifax. It is the worse credit company EVER! You can literally XXXX " I can't aces my equifax account '' and see thousands of treads of people having the same problem with you're company .I have no problems accessing my accounts with XXXX or XXXX XXXX. I want access to my equifax account only to unlock my credit and NEVER use it again. Please tell me how to access to my account.
