I received a credit alert informing me that this company " Veterans United '' home loans requested a copy of my credit report on XX/XX/2022. I have not applied for any loans, mortgages, or other financial products with this company or any of their affiliates. I did not apply for any credit on or around XX/XX/2022. I did not give this company authorization to access my credit report and I have no idea why they did. I have previously been a victim of identity theft and this may be a result of that past identity theft. I contacted the credit bureau directly and was told that I needed to contact this company and alert them and request that they tell the credit bureau to remove the inquiry.
