This involves Capital One credit card. About XXXX XXXX, I noticed some fraudulent transactions on my account.One example was a {$16.00} rush card fee for a credit card to be sent to another address.. I never asked for this.I called Capital One, perhaps a dozen times, trying to straighten this out. I spoke to agents, most of whom spoke XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX and I could not understand much of what they said.So, I then asked that the account be closed. In about XXXX, XXXX I received an invoice in the mail, saying that I owed about {$90.00}. I paid this amount. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Capital One saying I owed an additional amount ( {$170.00} ) ..I called them up and said how could this be, as the credit card was closed, due to fraudulent activity? The rep didn't respond in a straight forward way, so I asked to speak to a manager. This woman named XXXX ID # XXXX ( she refused to give her last name ) Spoke to me and it seemed that she disregarded anything I had to say .I asked her why an invoice wasn't sent to me, and she just said that I had opted out of mailed items. The gist of the complaint is that they charged me late fees of {$25.00}, and then {$40.00}. I said I never got an invoice for the amounts they mentioned. But, the manager just wouldn't respond to my complaints. I am willing to pay any legitimate chares, which I believe are about {$90.00} ... I want that {$16.00} fraudulent rush charge taken off, as well as the combined late fees of {$65.00} taken off also. I also feel that the company was not responding to my previous complaints due to the fact of my age, ( XXXX ).. I believe that they just want to accumulate late fee charges and don't care about anything else... I had their credit card for more than 10 years and never had a problem until now.. Please try to get Capital One to respond to my complaints in a rational manner.
