My car went into the shop in XX/XX/2021, I made payments up until XXXX of 2021 when XXXX informed me that I could halt on my payments until I get my car back from the shop. It took them 6 months to fix my car. I got a call on XX/XX/XXXX to get my car back. The moment I went and got my car, I went straight to Car-mart and paid what was owed ( I have the receipt and paperwork ) and I asked them why my credit report showed repossession. I was assured from the assistant manager that corporate put false information and my report would be fixed. I made another payment a week and a half later. It's been 20 days and my report still say repossessed and closed. My car was never repossessed, and I am still making payments on this vehicle. I have contacted the lender and they told me that they could write a letter stating that my car was never repossessed and for me to dispute it on my report as well. I disputed it and it's been denied by the lender. I have contacted them multiple times regarding this, and they are refusing to fix this issue due to their system stating my account is active. I have receipts and paperwork to prove that my car was never repossessed it was in the shop. I have never been late on a payment with this company until they told me that halting my payments to get a rental car is what they suggest.
