On XX/XX/2022 I discovered hard inquiries on my XXXX, Experian, and XXXX credit reports. The following institutions had requested my credit information from the following credit bureaus : XXXX : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX : XXXX XXXX XXXX Experian : XXXX XXXX ( twice ), XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I do not recognize these institutions, nor have I applied for any product with them, especially XXXX that would require my credit information. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They claimed they had no record of my information or a request for a financial product in their system. I asked them to then correct the hard inquiry. I was told they can not fix the hard inquiry because there is no record of an application containing my social security number. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX, but the number listed with the hard inquiry on my credit report was not a valid number. I called XXXX XXXX, but they, ike XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, claimed they had no record of my information or a request for a financial product with my social security number attached to it, in their system. Experian does not provide an option to file an online dispute against hard inquiries. I called Experian 's phone line but could not get a live a representative. I called their corporate office for help, but was repeatedly transferred to the same line that did not provide a live person to talk to. After numerous calls to get help, I reached a man named XXXX who said that Experian had no responsibility to remove the hard inquiry or do an investigation around it, and suggested I go directly to the creditor, by mail, and have it removed. However, he could not give me any instructions on how or where to contact the creditors to get the hard inquiries removed. XXXX does not provide an option to file an online dispute against hard inquiries. I completed an online chat with XXXX, and the representatitive insisted that I have to go to the creditor whom placed the hard inquiry to get it removed. I explained what had transpired when I contacted the institutions to have them remove the inquiry, but XXXX insisted that it was not XXXX 's responsibility to remove it or even verify that the request for my credit information was a valid request. I was able to file an online dispute with XXXX regarding XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have yet to hear back from them.
