On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a dispute regarding two student loans that have been paid in full and accounts closed as of XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX has them listed as open. XXXX is in excess of $ XXXX and one in excess of $ XXXX. All of my student loans ( a total of 14 ) have been forgiven by the Dept. of Education. XXXX dispute resolution returned no change in status. I called and spoke with a rep and was told I need to submit proof documentation. That THEY HAVE NO WAY OF CONTACTING ANYONE TO VERIFY. I had just hung up with someone from the Dept. of Education, by calling an XXXX number that is listed very clearly. On XX/XX/XXXX, I disputed these loans again w the documentation. Again, the loans were not removed. I called the Dept. of Education to ask if they could contact Experian bc I was having such a hard time. They sent me a different document and told me that Experian SHOULD BE CONTACTING THEM IF THEY CAN NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS SENT. On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a third dispute with this document. On XX/XX/XXXX, the dispute was completed and I was not notified or able to see the results. When I called Experian, I was told that the original document sent to Experian in XXXX of XXXX was unable to be opened b/c there was an error message on the attachment. I told them that I have sent a copy of that document and I was told it has to be received from the originator and that I will have to contact them to resend the information. I informed him that the document IS from the originator. I was told that that document could be forged so it must come directly from the Dept. of Education. During all of this, they have also dropped my credit score XXXX points for no apparent reason. Nothing has changed at all other than my trying to resolve their issue of not removing incorrect information on their part. Experian distinctly shows their dispute services as THEY WILL CONTACT ANY COMPANY TO VERIFY INFORMATION.
