Consumer Narrative

I accepted employment with XXXX XXXX under very, very defined terms. After negotiating with those terms made clear and accepted by the brand-new manager and recruiter, an on-line contract for employment. I was working and was told I needed to sign it right away so I could start within a certain cycle of new hires. Not expecting anything to be added that we had never discussed, I quickly opened the document and e-signed it sending it back to the manager right away. It is my fault for not reading the contract in more depth. It was hard to read online and I did not even think to look for anything that had not already been discussed. Once hired and onboarded with XXXX, XXXX I absolutely was excited to get through training and start living up to the terms of what I thought was our agreement. Not one of the things I had been promised worked out. They were inducements to get me to come on board. I guess they figured that I would stay anyway. I left a very good job in the field to come to work there. Had those terms been honored I would have stayed. I stayed several months trying to get a straight answer regarding where the breakdown was in communication. I was mis-led into believing that the things promised could still be worked out. I was totally deflated and realized that without those terms I could never achieve what I thought was a great career at XXXX, XXXX My second mistake was not leaving immediately once I realized the dishonesty of their newly hired manager. I was devastated. I was stunned when I received an email from XXXX XXXX at XXXX, XXXX stating that I had agreed in advance to re-pay any advancement of a draw since I left the company early. Double whammy here. I understood the money being paid to me for the first few months was a salary, like a training salary. Second, I had never even heard of any pay back being required. And so I started negotiating with XXXX XXXX with XXXX, XXXX Below are the facts of the story at that point. The facts are : 1. On XX/XX/2022, XXXX reported to XXXX and XXXX a Collection on my credit file. This is false. I have never been served any papers regarding any debt with XXXX or XXXX. 2. If there is any action taken for Collection it would be considered to be filed for after this information was reported to my credit file at XXXX and XXXX. 3. After discussing with your representative, XXXX, that I was still disputing that I owed any money at all, she advised me that if I got on a payment plan with RFGI until I could obtain legal advice that would hold off any Collection activity. This monthly payment activity was suggested as a way to have the time to seek legal advice. I am attaching the initial outline of the payment plan set up as communicated by email. I am also attaching my receipts as evidence that all payments have been made through XX/XX/2022. XXXX stated to me that if I was making good faith payments that would keep any potential collection from being reported. I set that plan up in good faith and yet XXXX proceeded anyway to report false information with two major credit bureaus. 4. I tried to negotiate with XXXX representative XXXX XXXX for months. She would not accept any of my offers. She flatly refused to give any counter offer. 5. I have tried several times make an offer to RFGIs representative XXXX. My last offer was made XX/XX/2022, Friday ) for {XXXX} plus any payments already made. XXXX stated that I owed much more than that and because of that they could not present an offer to their client ( XXXX ). 6. That XXXX refused to present any of my offers to XXXX Reference was made to my offer as being too inadequate to present to lXXXX. I have tried to negotiate a mutually beneficial sum. Then I discovered the collection I had no idea about.
