I had {$800.00} in eight {$100.00} bills to deposit into my Wells Fargo checking account. The ATM I used scanned all eight bills and only identified five of the bills as valid deposits. It rejected the remaining three bills and attempted to return them to me. It must have gotten jammed, as it tried repeatedly to dispense the three bills that it rejected. The bills were unable to be dispensed and the ATM eventually gave up and my transaction ended and I was logged out. The screen gave a notice that cash deposits were no longer accepted. Only {$500.00} of the total {$800.00} was deposited to my checking account. I called Wells Fargo customer service immediately to open a case regarding the transaction. They credited me the missing {$300.00} until they could investigate further. 6 weeks later I received a letter in the mail stating that my claim was denied and the {$300.00} credited to my account would be deducted again.
