Experian as placed an alert on my account that I never asked them to put, when I initially made a complaint against a credit card company. The alert was placed on my report for a year and I have been unable to open any new credit cards based on this alert. It states that the alert will be removed after 1 year, however it is over a year and the alert remains. I am unable to remove it online or by phone. Only they can do it but they have not.
