On XX/XX/2022, I disputed a collection account with Experian that is reporting inaccurately on my credit file. On XX/XX/2022, Experian reported that this account has been updated and " verified ''. On XX/XX/2022, I sent Experian a letter to request the description of procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of ACCOUNT NAME - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX / ACCOUNT # XXXX. On XX/XX/2022, Experian opened a re-investigation of the above-mentioned account. I stated in my request " This is NOT a request for a re-investigation, I am invoking my right to request a description of the procedures used to determine the accuracy and completeness '' On XX/XX/2022, Experian completed the re-investigation stating that the account was updated and " verified '' ( AGAIN ). Experian has ignored my request for a description of the procedures used to determine the accuracy and completeness, which is my right under XXXX XXXX Code XXXX ( XXXX ) and as a consumer, I am being violated by both the XXXX XXXX XXXX and Experian Information Solutions , Inc. I am aware that Experian is required by congress to provide an independent investigation that is full and complete. Experian has failed to do so. According to Experian, their investigation process consists of Experian forwarding consumer dispute requests to the creditor to confirm the accuracy of the disputed information and reaching back out to the consumer to notify the consumer of their results after receiving a response from the creditor. At no point was an independent investigation performed directly by Experian. The collection agency has also NOT been in contact with Experian. Experian continues to report inaccurate and/or unverified information willingly and negligently on my credit file.
