My checking account and online banking with SoFi have been locked and restricted since XXXX XX/XX/2021 due to supposed suspicious activity. I attempted to call and email SoFi customer service on a daily basis and then weekly basis to no avail. All I received were automated responses and no call back to my numerous voicemails left. Finally, on XX/XX/XXXX or XXXX I received an email saying that my account had been closed since I did not address the negative balance there was due to a reverse on a provisional credit given to me. It was frozen so I was not able to deposit or remedy the XXXX situation whatsoever. They also stated this would be reported to the IRS or any pertinent creditors. I am very upset by this and appalled by the lack of customer service or attention on SoFis part.
