Twice, I have mailed letters requesting inaccurate information be removed from my file in Transunion 's office. I sent my requests with proof of ID and verified my SSN, my address, the current date, as well as clearly stated my request, my objective, my ID, and anything else. Twice, Transunion mailed generic notices back acknowledging that " someone '' tried to access my file but since they couldn't verify my identity they won't do anything. These notices do not say what I could have done differently to get my request processed. I sent a copy of my driver 's license both times. When I call them, I am unable to speak to any live representatives and the automated system have no helpful options for me. I have since suffered adverse action directly related to Transunion 's holding inaccurate personal and financial info, and my inability to fix it with. I was denied renting a house because the managing office uses Transunion. The second time I mailed my request to them I verified that it was me trying to request removal of bad info from my file in their office, and again they mailed a generic response that they can't verify my identity, even though I mailed a copy of my driver 's license. This is beyond frustrating, stressful, and it causes my XXXX to go through the roof!! I need help because I can't get through to anyone at Transunion and they are wasting my time through the mail system.
