Went to refinance my home loan depot called me so I applied for loan. I told them than I was involved in modification. They took my money of XXXX and told me I was fine. Lead me on for two months. I finally called them back many times always blown off with different excuses. Now in the mean time I spent XXXX for bug inspection also. I'm a XXXX Veteran who is on a very fixed income. They never once called me or told me that because of my modification I wasn't eligible for loan. I finally called texted email them many time after it had been XXXX months of time. A XXXX finally called me and told me the news after trying many times to see what the hold up was. I feel they took advantage of a poor XXXX Veteran. Also told me they put in for a refund because the XXXX thought they should have caught the problem but they never refunded me my money. I feel severely mistreated lied to and also stolen from it was just wrong. I just hope that I can help other veterans not to be scamed like I was by loan depot. Please advise how to handle this problem so it doesn't happen to other older people and veterans. Thank you so very much. Sincerely XXXX XXXX
