I was the victim of identity theft. Someone in Florida ( I live in Ohio ) got a hold of my XXXX XXXX credit card and spent at least a couple thousand dollars. Payments on the credit card are automatically deducted from the family checking account. The first indication of the fraud was on XXXX XXXX when {$1700.00} was taken out of the checking account. We figured XXXX XXXX would fix this and reimburse me but it refuses. The store has said the charges are legitimate though it's not possible. Further fraudulent charges have been made and XXXX XXXX now says we owe them more money. We've for now put a stop to the automatic debits.
