I bought out my leased vehicle last year and the dealership that I went through XXXX of XXXX XXXX used capital one banking for the loan. Neither the XXXX dealership or Capital one bank ever mentioned setting up any form of payment so to my knowledge my payments were still on auto pay through the dealer as I was never informed otherwise. I have like I said never received any form of contact by the bank either by mail, email, phonecall, not even a welcome letter. Fast forward I Come to find out I was 50 days past my payment due date and only found out because I received a credit report saying so. Mind you Capital One has yet to contact me. Nor the dealership even after 50 days of being late.. To my knowledge my payments were being paid automatically. I Immediately paid the total fees upon finding out and filed a dispute with Captial one sending them two letters and a fax addressing the issue a little over a month ago and still haven't heard from them. This is complete negligence. Pure unprofessional malicious Neglect. This company should be held accountable. I even filmed the entire conversation with XXXX when I bought the car and was only told when my first payment was due nothing else. No setting up of payments or anything. No contact even as of now from either the bank or the dealer. Am I missing something here?
