I was the victim of identity theft when my wallet was stolen from my vehicle including my social security card, ID, and other personal item, then later used to open fraudulent credit card, personal, and auto loan accounts in my name. On XX/XX/XXXX, I reviewed my 3 credit reports and found items which I did not open and that did not belong to me. I realized that I was the victim of identity theft and proceeded to file an Identity Theft Report with the FTC, as well as contact TransUnion notifying them of the Identity Theft, and that they were holding inaccurate data on my report in the form of the fraudulent accounts, and fraudulent inquiries. TransUnion has not responded to my letter, or FTC Identity Theft Report as of yet which was sent certified mail, nor have they removed the inaccurate items. I am including both the FTC Identity Theft Report that I filed as well as the letter that I sent to them detailing the Identity Theft and accounts.
