Follow up to multiple cases numbers. I have met with the Capital One Advocate group after many standard negative letter responses. First thing this group is for Capital One not a advocate to support Customer satisfaction. That is lip service. I have dealt with other advocacy groups but not one like Capital One 's that are negative toward the customers needs. I had wrote a letter to Capital One 's CEO in XXXX and it took XXXX weeks to get the CEO office to respond. That was irresponsible and unprofessional. In the meanwhile, I talked to a senior member of the customer service team who was willing to get my cashback, but She said her hands were tied since it was going through executive review. When the advocate person contacted me, I pointed out gaps in her research. -No disclosure at time of application -incorrect review of my credit report. my credit was 800 plus - Discrimination because other customers got their cashback reward when they had more than one Capital One credit card. to name a few gaps. The advocate was to listen to our telephone conversation with her manager and talk to the senior customer service employee and get back to me with a positive solution. I told her to have her manager be creative with a positive customer solution. That is what managers are paid for. I got the same standard cookie cutter letter. Just another negative response with no positive outlook for the customer. I met all criteria making {$500.00} in credit card charges before 90 days. Outstanding credit rating. Capital One owes me the {$200.00} cashback. They can make up stories and be dishonest but they owe me {$200.00}. I talked with another bank about their cashback credit card. They said I could have 2 credit card accounts and I would get cashback with the new card. I mentioned my bad experience with the Capital One cashback card without mentioning Capital One. The person gasped and said that was not their policy. I talked to several other Capital One Cashback credit card customers they battled Capital One on receiving their {$200.00} cashback too, it was a long drawn out ordeal. There is a pattern with Capital One not honoring their responsibility sending {$200.00} cashback to customers. Its a ugly unethical problem. I want this documented so other future customers are aware. Capital One should be ashamed of their actions. They were unethical. I have left the credit card idle with no activity. I used other bank cards, Capital One could have got those transactions and made good money but why reward them when I did not get the {$200.00} cashback. I don't want a response from Capital One. Their response does not solve the problem. They need to think through what they write and come back with a positive solution for the customer. Thank you.
