The company that I have an issue with is SAFCO. I voluntarily turned my vehicle in to this company and was actually in good standing with the company but due to mechanical issues ( after a major engine recall ) I had to make that choice. To date I continue to receive notification that SAFCO falsely reports that I am missing payments, and they report to the three credit bureaus every month that I am late with my payments when in fact the car was sold at auction and written off as a charge off. Also, SAFCO is reporting to the credit bureaus that I owe XXXX, XXXX, however note in the enclosed document the amount is XXXX, XXXX. This information is false as I stated earlier. I recognize that in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, SAFCO acct # XXXX, has violated my rights to privacy according to 15 U.S.C 1681 as well as, 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2, due to the fact that a consumer agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions to which I did not consent.
