As outlined further in the letter sent to XXXX XXXX Mortgage, a fault in the autopayment system of the company caused a reported delinquency in a mortgage payment for my primary residence. Upon explaining the background of the issue, contacting the credit bueraus, and attempting to work with XXXX to remedy the issue ( the account is always paid on time and is not delinquent to this day ), the company has refused to remedy the issue. XXXX is nonresponsive to any further requests or appeals and reiterates solely the a " payment was late '' while failing to recognize the cause of the late payment or the failure of XXXX to properly notify me as the consumer of the issue and how to remedy it. Regarldless of my continued logging in, at no point did the online portal show a delinquency and at all times displayed autopay as being active. I will need to continue the appeal process and move forward with litigation against the company in the event the continue to fail to respond. I would highly recommend against getting a mortgage with this provider.
