This is in response the banks statement according to complaint CFPB # XXXX & XXXX I was locked out of my account and lived in a state where there was no TD branch available. I called on XXXX XXXX to gain access to my account. However, the agent told me my only solution was to go to a branch and he can not help me. I also couldn't change my address for billing since I was in Ohio and TD doesn't operate there. Not only until I called XX/XX/2022 was I informed I could mail a notarized statement with 2 proofs of verification. I have not done that yet as my account has already been closed. Furthermore, I had more than enough rewards at the time of my account closing ( I believe {$300.00} in rewards ) to pay off my balance in full. Not only was I unable to use my rewards because of account blockage, but I was not informed or suggested that this would be a way to pay off my balance. While I understand I was partially at fault, the burdensome process of regaining access to my account made it very difficult to check my balance and get updates on what has been going on.
