I took out a loan through XXXX XXXX for a Private Student Loan in 2007 for {$10000.00}. My loan is now at {$20000.00}. My current interest rate is 8.8 %. This loan was taken out through a XXXX College with very little retention rate. I was XXXX XXXX XXXX when this loan was taken out with the only income listed on the " income section '' of the loan application is my financial aid listed as " other income. '' My Mother co-signed my loan. She is now deceased. Things I have requested from Navient ( because it advertises these options on their webpage ) : Income-driven repayment plan XXXX XXXX I call every month and they tell me all they can do is reduce my payment from {$200.00} to {$150.00}. I'm going into debt making a {$200.00} payment a month.
