Consumer Narrative
First Horizon has made two entries on My consumer report XXXX and others that are false. After disputing the information and making payment that settled the debts, the reported information shows no update that reflects the settled account debts. When settled First Horizon agreed to remove the items. Most importantly the false accusation entered as suspected fraud is baseless, it was not properly investigated, and the character of the debt being associated to fraud violates my consumer rights and it's damaging. I accepted a a third party payroll check from a past associate that was placed on hold and released by the bank, there was no issues with it's validity. After, the overdraft of my account for unrelated unforeseen charges the bank reviewed my account discovery the mistake of the bank whom stated that my account did not allow third party deposits and reversed the credits solely based on the mistake of the bank. The bank decided to prematurely close the account and notate two falsely characterized occurrences of one incidents when submitting the occurrences separately on my consumer reports. The amounts has been settled which the entries do not reflect settlement, and the entries make false claims related to and described as fraud and account abuse which is retaliatory in nature for reason of the bank having to disassociate from it's actual mistake made on the account, further in an attempt to secure it's position without being subject to legal remedy it inflated the infraction, and the bank did not accept any statement from myself or the owner of the check which is failure to properly investigate the incident and allowing the bank to take the level action which is faulty business practices.
