**THIS IS A FOLLOW-UP TO COMPLAINT # XXXX, WHICH WAS ALREADY FILED** On XX/XX/2022, I contacted Sallie Mae in hopes that I could negotiate some sort of financial arrangement to avoid my cosigner and I being reported to the credit bureaus. The customer service representative ( CSR ) that I communicated with, after being placed on hold numerous times, was finally able to to present the following offer to me in order to avoid being placed in negative/adverse status with the credit bureaus : a back payment, in the amount of {$270.00}, and a promise to pay the delinquent amount of {$970.00} upon next payday ( XX/XX/2022 ). I agreed to the terms as they were presented, and a payment, in the amount of {$270.00}, was processed/drafted from my checking account on file. I requested numerous times to the CSR to reiterate that the offer/terms that were presented would result in my student loan accounts not being reported as negative/adverse to the credit bureaus, and I was assured each time that those accounts would not be reported as such. On XX/XX/2022, I was alerted by XXXX that Sallie Mae did indeed report my student loan accounts as delinquent, which resulted in a decrease of my credit score by XXXX points ( I assume the same result occurred to my cosigner as well ). As a result, a dispute has been filed with the agency to investigate the situation. Also, my father ( the cosigner ) was just contacted by Sallie Mae via telephone as a reoccurrence of the constant barrage of harassing/annoying communication tactics utilized by the organization that were previously reported.
