I purchased a car from CarMax in XX/XX/2021. I started having issues with the vehicle 's engine in XX/XX/2021. I spent money I did not have to try and get the car repaired but I was advised it was not repairable. I advised CarMax Auto Finance of this and they denied my request to defer my monthly payments until I could figure out what to do. I am a single parent and do not have funds to pay a monthly payment that is stuck at the repair facility or try to find money for a down payment for a new car. I have been alerted that they reported my payment 90days past due which caused my credit score to decrease and now I really can't qualify for financing any where else
