I was notified in XXXX if 2021 that a credit card had been opened in my name. I never applied for it, and have since been attempting to close it with no success.I called several times and explained that it was fraud, but since the card was opened in my maiden name ( which I have not used in more than 15 years ) I was not able to provide vailed enough proof that this was not me who opened the card.
