On XX/XX/XXXX2022 I went to a Huntington branch in XXXXXXXX location at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, IL XXXX to make a deposit into my checking account. I provided the bank teller with 2 cashiers checks and my driver 's license- I was presented with a receipt with the deposited amount and the last 4 digits of an account number. The bank teller advised to give it 24 hours to utilize the funds. On XX/XX/XXXX 2022 I checked my account online and the deposit was not there. I received a phone call from a relative who also has the same mailing address asking about my deposit- he advised that the funds had been deposited into his account on XX/XX/XXXX22 in the same amount that I deposited. As of today, my funds have not been returned to my account and I am currently in the negative. Although when I spoke with the branch manager I was told the issue would be resolved within 2 days.
