I was trying to purchase a new puppy online from a website called XXXX. However, I never received my dog because it was fraud. The seller continuously communicated with me about the dog and even sent paperwork for me to sign insuring my purchase. I felt that the seller could be trusted so on XX/XX/22 I made the purchase of {$850.00} for the puppy through XXXX. The seller even made me name the reason of payment as " XXXX XXXX '', the name of the puppy. As soon as I was aware of the fraudulent activity I contacted my bank PNC to dispute the transaction. About a week ago, when calling to check on the investigation of my dispute I was informed that my use of XXXX had been terminated. Today I was informed that my dispute claim had been denied because the bank decided that my claim was " false ''. My XXXX should not be turned off, the seller 's should. I have hard evidence proving that my above statements are true and the bank should credit my account. The FDIC has regulations against fraud by wire and this person is in clear violation of them. The website is currently still up and another person could potentially be scammed by them.
