I opened a business credit card with capital one in XXXX and accrued XXXX rewards points. The business the card was opened for unfortunately had a rough year w one of the partners embezzling a lot of money out of the company, forcing the company into bankruptcy. The card has not been used in a quite a while so I did not think to move the points out of my account into one of my other capital one accounts w rewards points. My account was in good standing, I dont believe there was any debt on it, ( maybe an annual fee charge ) and I feel that capital one should gift me the points back as there is no reason I should be penalized for a partner destroying my business. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and didnt have any luck getting an employee to assist in retrieving or replacing my points. Its been a very difficult year and this is really pushing me over the edge, as I planned to travel w the family to get away from all this.
