Over the past several years the interest rate has continues to even though i have made payments and have good credit, the interest rate is always fluctuating and increasing ; it never decreases. I took this loan out over 10 years ago and still have barely been able to make a dent in it. Also I have not been able to get any forbearances of deferments because they only allow so many in the entirety of the loan. I am a single mother of XXXX, I have never been able to utilize the degree that I obtain when I went to school as the economy way very bad when I graduated still. I am also on XXXX at this time and on a fixed income and the company doesn't want to willingly work with me on lowering my monthly payments so that they are affordable without the interest rate going sky high.
