I am writing an update to complaint # XXXX against Experian and complaint # XXXX against XXXX. On XX/XX/2022, I contacted Experian to find out why I have hard credit inquiries on my credit report, request a dispute, and start the error resolution process. Experian insisted I had to contact XXXX to resolve it. Experian refused to do anything but claim they would start a fraud alert. Experian did not provide any documentation of the fraud alert. Since I should not have any accounts with XXXX, I felt reluctant to give up my personal information. I contacted XXXX to try to find out why they abused my financial information & placed hard inquiries on my credit report. Staff were able to identify some erroneous account information & claimed that XXXX would perform a fraud investigation and/or fraud review. On XX/XX/2022, I returned to my flat & saw envelopes from XXXX in my mailbox. I opened to see an actual credit card that erroneously claims I am a member since 2022. I had another envelope containing a pin # for the credit card. Since I already called XXXX on XX/XX/2022, & have not received anything documenting the reported fraud, I am submitting this regulatory complaint so that XXXX can understand that it is a serious violation to initiate a brand new line of credit and credit card through abusing an individual 's financial information.
