This is a complaint against timeshare XXXX XXXX XXXX - XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. The people we dealt with told us that we were making a good financial investment. They said I can earn from this if I decide to sell it as the resale value would go up. We were also told that it had some tax benefits similar to owning a second home. We felt pressured especially when they said they needed " corporate approval '' in order to grant me the price being offered and it's our last chance at the lowest price. They opened a credit card. They offered gifts like {$100.00}. They have our ID during this process. We felt extremely pressured during the whole process, they even used threatening statements when we asked assistance in selling. We didn't know how to cancel, we were never properly educated of it like how many days to cancel and such. We tried requesting to cancel but we were never assisted. We had the worst experience with this timeshare, we were highly pressured with their sales tactics. We were under impression that it was a bargain deal being offered to us, purchasing someone else 's timeshare that they needed out of. Thus, we were led to believe that they actually assis owners who need to sell and exit. We were simply defrauded and lied to. We're elderly, it felt our age were used and had been taken advantage of. Having this timeshare just gave us hardships than giving us a way to relieve our stress for people our age, especially when we're already dealing with several medical conditions but getting involved with them just doesn't help, actually making it worse for people like us. We had financial difficulties, negatively affecting our credit scores because of this, loss of income, can't pay bills etc. Experienced work stress and issues due to this timeshare, plus emotional relationships were affected well. All we got is being stressed out ever since we had this timeshare.
