My credit report reflects an account " XXXX XXXX '' in the amount of {$740.00}. I have ZERO idea who this is. I have, at no point ever, opened an account with this company. I disputed the item with Transunion and froze my credit and after hours of trying to get ahold of this company, talked to " XXXX '' who was to dispute this claim and report it as " fraud. '' I literally have no card, not a complete account number ( the one on the credit card is absent of the last XXXX numbers ). TransUnion " investigated '' ( laugh laugh, cough cough ) and determined this was indeed my account. Strangely, this company has my mailing address as XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NY ( never been there, know absolutely nobody there, I reside in XXXX, MO ). Clearly, somebody isn't doing their job. Had real eyeballs been placed on this investigation, it would have been determined that I DO NOT OWN THIS ACCOUNT. This has been a nightmare. A literal nightmare. I'm exhausted. I have a child with a head injury and the time spent trying to fight this is unnecessary if people would do their jobs. At this VERY moment, I am on the phone with " XXXX '' from XXXX XXXX and she is emailing the statement of charges ( that aren't mine ). She's putting me through to the fraud department again, which won't matter. PLEASE HELP ME. PLEASE. Somebody with real, viable organs needs to investigate this. Not an electronic robot ... .by the way... .it 's XXXX getting through to this company without account information.
