Medical bill originated XXXX with XXXX XXXX. Bill was sent to 3rd party for imaging. That imaging company should have billed insurance. The bill was then sent to a collection agency. The bill was immediately set up, upon notice, on auto renewal payments since XXXX XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX the debit card was renewed and changed. The creditor payment fell into the next month once updated new card information. They received a double payment. They reported my account for the first time as delinquent in XX/XX/XXXX. This bill was not on my credit prior to the month of XX/XX/XXXX. I was told that there was a new law in effect letting them place this on my credit because of the XXXX payment. They are unable to tell me what that law is. I was told it is not their job to tell me. This company is ATG credit. I had excellent credit. This has inflicted derogatory on my credit. Once, I had became aware that insurance did not pay the imaging and sent to ATG I began and have continued to pay. I do not work for the company that I carried the insurance with for this bill to have them fix it. I just want the derogatory information removed. I have been paying this bill. I have copies of bank statements. The company also admitted to me paying it.
