I was called to XXXX XXXX in XXXX, by law my loans were supposed to be deferred. I did not come off XXXX XXXX until XXXX. I was in XXXX from XXXX to XXXX XXXX law I am entitled to have a six month grace period. My payments would have started in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX : 1 month XXXX : 2 month XXXX : 3 month XXXX : 4 month XXXX : 5 month XXXX : 6 month My first bill should have been due XXXX XXXX. Navient is refusing to honor my 6 month grace period. They stated I used my 6 months while I was on XXXX XXXX which they cant do because my loans were already deferred due to my XXXX XXXX XXXX. Navient is unable to provide the history of my loan as well so they can tell me exactly when the 6 months were used. XXXX said due to it being with another provider they are unable to provide exact dates and times to verify. Navient has placed a delinquent payment on my credit report for XX/XX/XXXX when my account was supposed to be in the 6 month grace period.
