I went into a XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. At checkout I was invited to get 15 % off and told I was applying for points and it would be a soft pull. Minutes later, I got alerts that there were inquires. I alerted the store and synchrony bank. The bank told me to write a written statement about the incident and mail it. Weeks later I was told the inquiry was removed. However, last week I received a letter that there was another inquiry from XXXX XXXX. I have not applied for anything and this inquiry is on TransUnion. I also filed for bankruptcy in XXXX and all past inquires should have been discharged, but they still remain. I am very concerned because I also got an alert yesterday of dark web activity for my social security number and license number. Please help.
