On the day of closing, which is listed on my Closing Disclosure as XX/XX/2022, I called Broker Solutions Inc dba New American Funding at around XXXXXXXX XXXX. My loan agent said they were about to call me, because I need $ XXXX {$900.00} more for additional title fees because your title has a special lien showing XXXX as an owner and that's not normal. I explained that this is normal for any existing mortgage for the mortgage company to have a lien on the title. I was then directed by my loan agent to her supervisor, who told me the same thing. I told the supervisor that I have a Closing Disclosure, they chose the title company, and that they can not spring fees on me the day of closing. He tells me I don't have a CD, even after sending a picture of it to him with the closing date clearly on it, noting that it is a Final CD. The supervisor even threatened to let my rate lock expire, which has already been extended once, if I didn't go ahead and pay the extra money charged by XX/XX/XXXX when it expires! And then noted that that would be an extra charge as well. It has been a complete nightmare. There is so much more that I honestly need to talk with an agent, because it's too much to type. XXXX XXXX is the name of their titling company used, for reference. Please help! I know this can not be right.
