A XXXX egift card was purchased online via XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I attempted to use the card at an online store as well as pay a bill online on XX/XX/XXXX and each time the card was declined, once stating the card was expired. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the issuing company who stated there was nothing wrong with the card. After several more unsuccessful attempts to use the card I called back and requested a refund, request # XXXX. I was told a check would be issued and mailed to my home address within XXXX days. The time has elapsed and I have contacted the issuer who appears to be unwilling to release my refund. The card can not be used and currently shows as On Hold via the online portal. I am requesting assistance to get a full refund of the card amount and card purchase fee, a total of {$200.00}.
