I received an email advertisement that I had won a free watch and I had to pay {$4.00} shipping. Instead the company charged me {$71.00}. I contacted my credit card company Capital One, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX. Telephone number is XXXX and their website is www.capitalone.com/support-center/contact-us. I am a XXXX XXXX and a XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX, After I contacted the credit card company they sided with the XXXX XXXX XXXX the MERCHANT on this UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION. I will also be contacting the XXXX XXXX XXXX and the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General Fraud Division, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and US Treasury and file a complaint about this. I should NOT be responsible for any charges that I did NOT AUTHORIZE. After I notified the credit card company of this UNAUTHORIZED transaction, they CLOSED the credit card and ISSUED me a new one. If they thought there was NO FRAUD, why issue me a new credit card when I reported this unauthorized transaction?
