In XXXX of 2021, I opened a checking account with Wells Fargo online. About a month weeks later Wells Fargo closed the account due to personal info that wasn't provided by me within a timely manner. The account closed with an amount of {$540.00}. I spoke with rep from the complaints department, and she stated that I had to visit a local branch to receive the remaining balance from the checking account. The rep informed me that the nearest local Wells Fargo branch is XXXX hours from my place of residence. The rep provided the bank 's address and phone number to set up an appointment. I called the branch to set up a time to pick up the cashier 's check. The issue was forwarded to XXXX at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IL location. XXXX stated it wasn't a need for me to drive XXXX hours away and that all he needed was for me to sign a form and when I returned the form, he would send the check via XXXX. A week after I returned the form, XXXX stated he hasn't heard from his boss and to call back or he'd call me back with more info. I've communicated back and forth with XXXX within a 45-month span. XXXX weeks ago, XXXX informed me that the check is being sent off via XXXX, the check comes with a tracking number. Unfortunately, I never received the check. Since then XXXX has been avoiding my calls and will not return my phone calls.
